Denley Mushabe Wins Silver at International Schools Sports Gala 2025

Young athlete and student, Denley Mushabe, continues to make waves in the world of school sports with his latest triumph at the International Schools Sports Gala (ISSG), held on March 8, 2025, at Kampala International School Uganda (KISU).

Representing Vine International Schools Academy (VICA), Denley competed in the Under 15 Boys’ Table Tennis category and proudly brought home the Silver Medal, affirming his position as one of Uganda’s most promising young table tennis players.

“I thank God for this achievement. Denley’s interest in the game and his commitment to practice have made this possible,” shared his mother, Doreen R. Mushabe, who has always been a strong pillar of support in his journey.

Denley’s success is a testament to not only his growing skills but also the consistent effort and discipline he pours into his training. His school has provided a strong foundation through accessible sports facilities and mentorship, but it’s Denley’s passion and work ethic that continue to set him apart.

Coach Achuma Benjamin, who trains the VICA table tennis team, noted visible improvement and dedication in Denley’s game. “He’s growing stronger with every match. With continued effort, there’s no limit to what he can achieve,” he said.

This silver medal marks yet another milestone in Denley’s sports journey. It is a clear indication that with focus, resilience, and the right support system, young athletes like him can excel on both local and international stages.
